To the editor:

About 2,500 years ago, Confucius taught Chinese society the difference between a gentleman and a small man. A person was a gentleman not because of breeding but because he achieved superior moral accomplishments. He said a gentleman understands what is moral, while a small man understands only what is profitable.

By this standard, it appears clear that the voters options for president in November is between a gentleman and a small man.
