To the editor:

The Berkshire Museum is surrounded by attractive older buildings that seem to be vacant or underused. Why not use one of them for expansion instead of spoiling the original building with a tacky renovation?

Or the trustees could buy St. Mary's Church for a beautiful setting for art. Or they could find a spot with more space for outdoor exhibits and parking. A little imagination seems to be needed to make everyone happier about the museum's future.
