To the editor:

One has to wonder what alternative universe letter-writer Lydia S. Rosner, or, for that matter, the rest of the Berkshire Museum trustees, are living in! ("Eagle conflict of interest on Berkshire Museum," Eagle, Dec. 6).

It has to be painfully obvious to all, including the trustees, that the public push back to the proposed sale of the premier pieces of the museum's artwork is of Category 5 hurricane proportion. Were it not for the investigative reporting of The Eagle, the public would not be fully aware of the secretive, deceitful nature of its New Vision.

I hope Eagle reporters earn the Pulitzer they so richly deserve for continuing to push the museum to do what it clearly is so terrified of doing — have an open and transparent discussion of the issue.
