I agree 99 percent with your Nov. 1 editorial "Berkshire Museum, halt the art auction." One correction of fact is that the Smithsonian American Art Museum has no rivals, certainly not the Berkshire Museum. As the most visited Smithsonian art museum, our 2 million annual visitors come to see the finest collection of American art and the over 44,000 works of art we hold in trust for the nation.
