To the editor:
On Wednesday evening, I was sitting outside on our deck and two military planes literally flew directly over me skimming our treetops.
The roar was deafening. At first I thought they were going to crash in our New Marlborough neighborhood and my heart started racing. Then I worried there had been some sort of disaster or terrorist attack.
As The Eagle's article said, I believe residents should be warned about such military training exercises. I found it very stressful, especially having experienced 9/11 in NYC. In New York, notices of military flyovers are texted to citizens who sign up for them. The Berkshires should have the same option.
