Thank you for publishing Joseph Thompson's article, "The case for the Berkshire Museum, its survival is at stake" (Eagle, July 30). Many of us have benefited from our museum's presence but don't have the broad understanding that Thompson brings to the discussion. We get focused on our particular area of interest but depend on the "smart , hard-working professionals and attentive, generous volunteers" to do the tough work in protecting "one of our region's most important institutions."
Thank you Berkshire Museum, Joseph Thompson and The Eagle for helping us understand what's at stake and to appreciate our museum.
