To the editor:
It's heartening to see so many people talking about the Berkshire Museum. This little gem that serves the Berkshire community like no other museum in the county has been under-supported for too long. This public discussion about the museum's future has reminded me of the importance of renewing my annual membership and increasing my monetary support as much as I can.
I encourage everyone else who is concerned about the museum's future to become a member, visit the museum often, and attend the Little Cinema's outstanding (and incredibly affordable) movie offerings. The very best thing we can all do to ensure that the museum never faces another painful decision like the one it is facing now is to become members and to support it financially and with our participation in its programs. The challenge is not just to Save Our Art; it is to Save Our Museum.
