The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Freel Library will host a panel discussion and conversation on climate change in North Adams from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24.

Panelists Rosemary Wessel of the Berkshire Environment Action Team and No Frack Mass, and Caroline Massa of the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission, will discuss the effects of climate change on the North Adams community, environment and infrastructure, and how community members and organizations are responding.

The event is part of Climate Preparedness Week organized by Communities Responding to Extreme Weather and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
