PITTSFIELD — A Lenox woman suffered injuries that were not life-threatening in a crash that shut down South Street for about 30 minutes Monday evening, according to police.

Sabrina Salvatore, of Lenox, was northbound in her 2002 Toyota Tundra when she lost control of her vehicle around 6:42 p.m., police said, and struck the Berkshire County Realty Company building at 338 South St. Police said she was transported to Berkshire Medical Center for treatment.

The building sustained damage in the crash, police said, and a city inspector was called to assess its structural integrity. Officer Mike Silver is investigating the crash.
