CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. — It didn’t take stage director Kirk Jackson long to say “yes” when Hubbard Hall Center for the Arts and Education’s executive and artistic director David Snider asked him to direct “Fun Home.” The show, with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, is a musical adaptation of lesbian cartoonist Alison Bechdel’s 2006 graphic novel, subtitled “A Family Tragicomic,” about growing up and coming out in a small town in Pennsylvania.
