PITTSFIELD — Lucy and Alfonso, the twentysomething lovers at the center of Laura Winters’ earnest, heartfelt romcom, “All of Me,” at Barrington Stage Company, meet cute … in the outpatient parking lot at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, N.Y.

A promising jazz singer in her teens, the now 22-year-old Lucy (Madison Ferris) has had degenerative muscular dystrophy since its onset at age 18.
