Amici co-owner says he hopes to reopen the West Stockbridge restaurant by the end of May

Amici is aiming for a late May reopening following a fire.

WEST STOCKBRIDGE — After a pizza oven left on overnight Jan. 20 at Amici ignited the wall near it causing smoke and water damage to the building’s first and second floors, some tenants are back at work.

Amici, the casual Italian restaurant on the first floor at 5 Albany Road, is aiming for a late May reopening following the fire.
