January is a typical slow month on the area’s restaurant scene, but this year several proprietors are opening new ventures, including the just-opened Max Italian eatery in downtown Lenox, while other owners are exploring retirement by putting their businesses on the market.
Whitney Asher’s Brava wine, beer and small plates restaurant first opened 10 years ago on Housatonic Street in Lenox before relocating to more spacious digs on Church Street in November 2020.
