PITTSFIELD — Amy Godfrey has been named CEO of AH&M Inc., a leading global business-to-business communications agency specializing in industrial and technology markets that is headquartered in Pittsfield. Her appointment is effective immediately. Company co-founder Jim Allison, who has served as president and CEO of AH&M since it was formed in 1988, has assumed the position of chair.
In her new position, Godfrey is responsible for developing the strategies and policies required to ensure that AH&M meets its financial, performance and growth goals, and for overseeing the agency's overall strategic direction.
Godfrey brings to her new position over 20 years of experience working with leading multinationals across the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Since joining AH&M as an account coordinator in 2000, she has held several positions of increasing responsibility and led many of the agency's key accounts. Prior to her new role as CEO, Godfrey served as AH&M's managing director for eight years.
