NORTH ADAMS — Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts will begin its 11-part Green Living Seminar Series on Jan. 30 with "Plastics in the Environment: Separating Myth from Reality." The discussion takes place at 5:30 p.m in Room 121 of the Feigenbaum Center for Science and Innovation. It will be presented by Chriss Reddy, senior scientist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. The lecture is free and open to the public.

The theme of this years' seminar series is "Environmental Pollution." Each seminar will take place at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays at Room 121 of the Feigenbaum Center for Science and Innovation. All lectures are free and open to the public. Additional seminars takes place from Feb. 6 to April 16.
