NORTH ADAMS — Laura Burm, a 2003 graduate of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, has been elected to the board of directors of the New England Council of Boston, a non-partisan alliance of businesses, academic and health institutions and public and private organizations. Burm is the head of public affairs and communications at rsted North America in Boston, a national and global leader in offshore wind development. She overseees public affairs, communications, community relations, branding, partnerships, and collaborations at the national, state and local level for rsted. She previously managed community relations and communications and served as spokesperson for Entergy Corporation's Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth. Burm hold a bachelor's degree from MCLA in communications, journalism and public relations, according to her LinkedIn page.
