Clark Art Institute, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Stockbridge Library, the town of Lenox, Images Cinema and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival are among the state entities that recently received a total of $9.1 million from the Massachusetts Cultural Facilities Fund.

The CFF is a state program that provides capital and planning grants to nonprofits, colleges and municipalities that own or operate facilities primarily focused on the arts, humanities, and sciences. The awards invest in the acquisition, design, repair, renovation, expansion, and construction of nonprofit and municipal cultural facilities.

Williamstown Theatre Festival received the maximum $200,000 for the purchase and renovation of a former grocery store in North Adams to be used as a permanent facility for constructing theatrical sets.
