TRANSITIONAL STRUCTURES: Works in Clay. Two clay artists collaborate to create this exhibit. Both Chris Archer & David Ernster call New Hampshire their home and both use the form of the clay vessels to realize their unique artistic visions. David Ernster: “I have always been interested in the objects that surround us. Not only in the physical attributes they possess but also what they can represent to us, their ability to hold ideas, thoughts and dreams.” Chris Archer states: “I choreograph heightened sensorial encounters through objects and their arrangements. Creative curiosities, inquiries, and essays manifest as functional pottery, sculptural forms, arrangements, site-specific installations and events.” Through Aug. 2 virtually in our online store and in our brick & mortar gallery Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, SalmonFallsGallery.com or call the gallery at 413-625-9833.
