PITTSFIELD — A woman accused of attempting to kidnap two children on North Street on Wednesday night was arrested and arraigned in court.
Sharon Kranich, 55, was arraigned Thursday on kidnapping and assault and battery charges, according to the Berkshire District Attorney's Office.
During the incident, Kranich allegedly approached the family and immediately grabbed and assaulted the toddler.
