A Cheshire man was arrested for several charges at the Hubbard Avenue Walmart early Saturday morning, including assault with a deadly weapon, assault on police officers and an attempt to disarm a police officer.

Pittsfield Police responded to a disturbance at the scene shortly after 2 a.m.
