Following grand jury indictment, Berkshire Superior Court arraignment of woman accused of killing grandmother in North Adams is delayed

Kelsie Cote, of North Adams, has been indicted by a Berkshire County grand jury, moving her case to superior court.  

NORTH ADAMS — The 26-year-old woman accused of killing her grandmother on Halloween night has been indicted and is set to be arraigned in Berkshire Superior Court.

A Berkshire County grand jury this month handed up indictments charging Kelsie Cote with a number of crimes, including first-degree murder.

The indictments are a procedural step that moves the case against Cote to Berkshire Superior Court, which has jurisdiction over murder cases in county.
