PITTSFIELD — The Stop & Shop on Merrill Road wasn't immune to the havoc a Saturday cold snap wreaked on local pipes. The grocery store evacuated customers around 11 a.m. on Saturday morning after the store's sprinkler system burst.
Video from customers inside the store at the time shows dark water pouring from the ceiling near the entrance to the building.
