Shaloon Milord, the woman critically injured in Monday's pedestrian car crash on West Street in Pittsfield, has died

Shaloon Milord and her family

Shaloon Milord, left, stands with her husband, Desire Peterson and their three-year-old daughter. Milord died after sustaining injuries in a car accident on West Street last week.

PITTSFIELD — Every day, Shaloon Milord would walk alongside her husband to a bus stop on West Street to drop off their 3-year-old daughter, Lucia, for the little girl’s session at an early childhood education program.

The family has been in Pittsfield for a little over half a year, and are still relative newcomers to the United States.
