PITTSFIELD — A crash that shut down a portion of South Street in Pittsfield for over five hours on Saturday is under investigation. Diesel fuel spilled onto the road, which prompted cleanup efforts from hazmat crews.
The crash was reported to police at 12:44 p.m. It occurred adjacent to the Country Club of Pittsfield at 639 South St.
