Live primary 2020 results for Berkshire County

Voters from Ward 5 check in at the Berkshire Athenaeum polling station in Pittsfield to cast their votes in the state’s primary election on Tuesday.

Here are the live and updated election results for primary day 2020 in the Berkshires.

Most Massachusetts  residents have already cast their ballots, says Secretary of State William Galvin. Galvin expected turnout of 1.2 million to 1.3 million voters statewide, once all votes are tallied.

The ballots featured U.S. Senate races on both the Democratic and Repubilcan sides, a seven-way Democratic primary for the Congressional seat that U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedy III is giving up to challenge Sen. Ed Markey, and challenges to sitting members of Congress Richard Neal, Stephen Lynch and Seth Moulton.
