A Festival of Trees is being held in the cafeteria of the former Cheshire School through Jan. 2. Area businesses and organizations each decorated 32 live trees, which will be on display 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday; Fridays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite tree in five categories including fan favorite, best lit, best topper, most creative and funniest.
