Third graders from Beth Smith’s class at Richmond Consolidated School got to visit the Berkshire Humane Society on Wednesday. The students visited after writing persuasive essays that would help animals be adopted.

The Berkshire Humane Society’s Community Outreach Coordinator is available to meet with students to talk about a variety of animal-related topics, such as responsible pet care and pet overpopulation, offering programs for preschool to high school students in public and private schools in Berkshire County.
