The Lenox School Committee has agreed to ask an outside auditor to review how the district handles incidents of bullying. The move comes after a parent raised concerns recently about the administration's handling of an incident at the middle and high school.

LENOX — An outside independent audit of bullying-response policies and procedures at the Lenox public schools is expected to begin as soon as possible.

In a 6-1 vote, the School Committee agreed Monday to seek a review of how the district responds to reports of bullying incidents. The move was prompted by public allegations from a parent that a recent incident was mishandled by the administration.
