The Lenox middle and high school principal has resigned. With the assistant principal currently on leave, staffers are concerned

Michael Knybel, principal of Lenox Memorial Middle & High School, has resigned after 10 years in the post. He said he will stay on through the end of the month and help with "preparations for the fall."

LENOX — Lenox Memorial Middle and High School Principal Michael Knybel has resigned to take a principal post in eastern Massachusetts.

In a letter to school staff obtained by The Eagle, Knybel, 56, said he has accepted a position at Hull High School in the South Shore coastal community, population 10,000.
