Great Barrington: Downtown parking time limits eased

The Select Board has temporarily lifted downtown parking time limits for the holiday shopping season. The change will remain in place until Dec. 31.

The easing of parking time limits does not change the town's winter overnight parking ban, which prohibits overnight on-street parking during winter months.

The easing of parking time limits coincides with this year's Holiday Stroll, which takes place from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.
