Local dispensary Bloom Brothers is suing the city and Mayor Linda Tyer over the "impact" fees assessed for doing business in Pittsfield. 

PITTSFIELD — A local dispensary is suing the city and Mayor Linda Tyer over the “impact” fees assessed for doing business in Pittsfield.

Bloom Brothers filed suit in Berkshire Superior Court this month, alleging the city is illegally charging the dispensary fees in violation of regulations laid out by the Cannabis Control Commission, the state agency that governs pot sales.
