NORTH ADAMS — The annual winter parking ban for the city of North Adams will begin on Sunday and continue through April 15.

The North Adams Police Department posted a reminder on Facebook that the parking ban lasts from 1 a.m. until 6 a.m. every day. Officers will start issuing paper warnings to vehicles ignoring the ban on Sunday, and the police department is recommending that residents start exploring options in order to find off-street parking.

Vehicles are not permitted to park on sidewalks at any time.
