The Pittsfield Parade Committee has announced the Fourth of July Parade will return this year after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

This year's theme, "Back with a Bang," "makes sense," according to Parade Committee President Peter Marchetti in a press release. “... We want to make this particular parade extra special for the community as a way of saying ‘thank you’ for sticking together through this time of difficulty as well as for their tremendous support they’ve shown for previous parades.”

Marchetti said the committee will work with Ray Pulver from Upbeat Parade Productions to add more music groups, entertainment groups and local/national personalities to the parade.
