The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Arts has a new leader: Kristy Edmunds. Edmunds currently is the executive and artistic director of UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance. Previously, she was founding executive and artistic director of the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art in Portland, Ore., and artistic director of the Melbourne International Arts Festival.
ArtWeek Berkshires, countywide event, running Sept. 16 to 26, will celebrate creativity — art, music, dance, theater, craf, writing, film, ceramics and more — with open studios, special events and art shows.
