Berkshire Community College honored 2022 graduate Martha Escobar, winner of this year's "29 Who Shine" award, on Tuesday, June 21. Presented by the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education since 2011, the award program honors outstanding students representing each of the state's 29 public higher education campuses.

Berkshire Community College’s Physical Therapist Assistant Program recently led a four-month program called "Stay Active and Independent for Life." The free strength, balance and fitness program for adults 65 and older was held twice a week from Jan. 10 through May 4.
