The Lee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has postponed Lee Founders Weekend until next year. As they did in 2020, the Chamber cited the coronavirus pandemic as the reason, as the global illness which has seen a resurgence in recent weeks across the country. With usually packed events such as the taste of Lee and Founders parade, the business group announced on Friday it couldn’t guarantee mask wearing and social distancing to prevent the spread of the disease.
