Grace Wigington scored 21 points as Wahconah christened its new gymnasium with a runaway win over Putnam.
Taconic got its work done early on Saturday at the Mullins Center, before finishing off Putnam 57-48.
"Building from the ground up and getting these guys to believe in our system, our plays and having each other's back," Taconic coach Jermaine Sistrunk said. "They did that today and this is a great moment for me. It's emotional with everything else that has happened so far this season, but I am so proud of my boys, so extremely proud."

Pittsfield High returned to the football field and rolled to a 58-8 win over Putnam Friday night. The Generals' game with Westfield last week had been postponed because of COVID-19 issues in Pittsfield.
