With its 80-plus miles of roadway and a population of about 915 scattered around vast tracts of state forest, Sandisfield has a next-level real estate problem. And it might have sent the town's new administrator packing. 

After a season of discontent, Sandisfield sees its fourth departure from Town Hall in two months. Meanwhile, residents fret over gaps in the town's financial ledgers. Board member Mark Newman resigned abruptly Monday, and the town is trying to sort out books kept by the town treasurer and accountant.
