UMass unveils football schedule with five home games and road trips to Auburn, Penn State

UMass E Michigan Football

Massachusetts coach Don Brown yells instructions during an NCAA football game against Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, in Ypsilanti, Mich. The Minutemen will again play at Eastern Michigan as part of the 2023 schedule. The schedule, released Thursday, has UMass playing five home games and Power-5 road games at Auburn and Penn State.

University of Massachusetts football coach Don Brown will find, at least on paper, that the coming 2023 season will be as challenging as his first one as the head coach.

The school released its 12-game football schedule on Thursday, a schedule that has five home games at McGuirk Alumni Stadium, six road games and a season-ending neutral site game against UConn.
