Williams College opens 2022 with a spirited first football practice in Williamstown

WILLIAMSTOWN — In college football, this is what is called Week Zero, when Division I teams can play their first games.

While the D-I’s of the world are wrapping up preseason camp or, in some cases, playing their first games, the last college football teams to strap on helmets and practice got underway on Friday.
