Ungewitter, Stover double-up on giant slalom at Berkshire League Alpine meet

Kitson Stover, here at the season opener, won a pair of giant slalom races on Monday at Bousquet.

PITTSFIELD — It was both a unique and difficult opportunity afforded to downhill skiers in the Berkshire League Monday night at Bousquet.

Typically, skiers get a one-and-done shot on the course and have to live with how they perform over the span of less than a minute. However, in an effort to capitalize on weather, the league hosted two races Monday to cover Weeks 3 and 4 of the season.
