Wahconah Park will have temporary bleachers installed for fans during the summer season for the Pittsfield Suns.

PITTSFIELD — Wahconah Park was as busy Monday morning as Grand Central Terminal in New York is during a rush hour. All for a good reason.

“I do want to impress upon the fans that we are playing this year,” Suns general manager Sander Stotland said. “I am still getting emails from folks asking if we are going to open up because they keep reading about the grandstand and don’t feel we’re going to have a season.
