Hoosac Valley football shut out at home by veteran Easthampton

Coach Mike Bostwick said his young Hoosac Valley football team will learn a lot from their home loss Friday night to Easthampton.

ADAMS — Easthampton used a bruising rushing attack barreling its way to a 28-0 win over Hoosac Valley on Friday at Renfrew Field.

The Eagles snatched four interceptions on the night and used a combination of speed and power running backs to punish the inexperienced Hurricanes.

Easthampton’s Bb Tauscher returned the game’s opening kickoff for a touchdown and running back Angel Moody plowed in for the ensuing two-point conversion giving the Eagles a quick 8-0 lead.
