East Longmeadow defense posts a shutout of Wahconah football in a Suburban South showdown

DALTON — It wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t complicated but it was effective. East Longmeadow played suffocating defense and ran hard. Winning in every phase to hand Wahconah its first loss of the season, 21-0, and bring the Spartans to their first 4-0 start in 12 years.
