Wahconah has a big third quarter, pulls away to beat Hoosac Valley in boys basketball

CHESHIRE — For 21/2 quarters Thursday night, host Hoosac Valley gave Wahconah all it could handle.

The Warriors, however, used an 11-1 run over the final five minutes of the third quarter to break away and then went on to beat Hoosac 68-50. It was the sixth straight win for now 10-2 Wahconah.
