Wahconah girls basketball beats Hoosac Valley in season opener, as Grace Wigington lights up

DALTON — The end of the first quarter foreshadowed how the rest of the game would play out. Wahconah’s Emma Belcher found Grace Wigington alone and the junior nailed a triple to give the Warriors a three-point lead. On the very next offensive possession, Wigington sank another 3-pointer to double it.
