Berkshire County athletes head to Division V and VI MIAA State Track and Field meets

Eamon Hetherington and the Mount Greylock track and field teams will be at Westfield State University on Thursday and Saturday for the MIAA D-VI State Championships.

Berkshire County will send a hefty contingent of student-athletes to this week’s MIAA divisional state championships, with four of them seeded No. 1 overall in their respective events.

Monument Mountain’s Lily Haskins-Vaughan in high jump, Mount Greylock’s Lily Catelotti in discus, Wahconah’s Payton Shippee in javelin and Lenox’s Dennis Love in the mile will all enter the week as de facto favorites.
