GREAT BARRINGTON — The Monument Mountain wrestling team beat back Mount Everett Friday night 41-30, but fell to Smith Vocational by one point, 36-35 to split the weekend.

Colin Kinne had a 2-0 weekend for the Spartans at 113 pounds. He dominated Mount Everett’s Connor Lupiani 16-0 for a tech fall, and then scored a second-period pin of Smith Vocational’s Evan Latour in 2 minutes, 26 seconds.
