Lenox girls basketball outlasts Drury thanks to clutch free-throw shooting

Lenox celly

Lenox players and fans celebrate after Drury's final attempt rolls out.

LENOX — Jocelyn Fairfield hadn’t scored in the fourth quarter. But with 13 seconds left in the game and a four-point lead staring down at her, she didn’t blink. Fairfield calmly sank both ends of a 1-and-1 to make it 39-34 and the Millionaires’ defense did the rest to pull out a home win and improve to 8-4 on the season.
