Mount Greylock's Thomas Martin rounds third base during the sixth inning on Wednesday in the Mounties' home win over Mystic Valley.

WILLIAMSTOWN — It was an offensive struggle for most of the game. Mount Greylock scored two runs in the first inning, but other than that, defense trumped offense for both sides. In the bottom of the sixth, however, the Mounties found their bats, scoring five runs to put the game away and defeat visiting Mystic Valley 7-0 in the MIAA Division V State Baseball Tournament.
